Conversation and General English courses are for adult students who wish to work
on building up conversational English skills for leisure, travel, and general work
purposes. 學習目標是改善普通日常生活旅行和工作上運用英語上的聽講溝通能力。
These classes are NOT exam-oriented but are keyed to relevant level tests (KET for
elementary ability, PET and FCE for lower and higher intermediate, and CAE for
advanced) for those who wish to take an exam for work purposes or personal
reasons.

Build interview skills and personal confidence. Learn to sell
yourself! In addition, we work on putting together resumes
and cover letters as well as tips and techniques for getting the
interview. Courses are for very small groups and run for 6-8
weeks at a time.

The Madness of Crowds: Stock Market English
Use English for analyzing and discussing markets and fundamental
investment concepts. Those familiar with the writings of Graham and
Dodd, Buffett, et. el. may enjoy the course. Note: this is NOT an
investment course but an English discussion course using the stock
market as a topic to develop business and financial vocabulary.

a hot topic is discussed and new
vocabulary learnt. Relevant sentence
structures are also studied as they relate to
the topic, the function, or particular
discussion skills. Courses are on-going,
and adult students may join at any time
(open-entry, open-exit system).

all-round fluency and knowledge and will
help anyone who needs not only to
increase vocabulary and confidence but
also needs to become more comfortable in
conference, meeting, and other
discussion-focused environments.

specific IELTS or other exam focus, but the
